Apple started taking orders for the iPad tablet Friday, with early adopters rushing to order one of the most hotly anticipated products in recent memory. Apple introduced the iPad on Jan. 27, saying that it would ship in 60 days in the U.S. Prior to that announcement, Apple kept the iPad shrouded in secrecy, refusing to confirm its existence. LG BL40 Chocolate
The LG BL40 Chocolate was the touch-screen Chocolate phone we all wanted to see here in the U.S. It's skinny, long, and is blessed with a stunning 4-inch display with a 21:9 wide-screen ratio, a high-definition "Real VGA" LCD, and a unique dual-screen UI.
Unfortunately, we received its lesser cousin instead, in the guise of the LG Chocolate Touch from Verizon Wireless. Will the LG BL40 ever make its way to the U.S., even via unofficial channels? We doubt it. Read review from CNET Australia.

Last year’s revenue has reached about $1.94 billion; by 2013, the market could grow over 807 percent, to almost $15.65 billion. The prediction has been based on a major push into smartphones around the world; analysts say that this could result in 970 million smartphones being in use by 2013. Researchers also claim that the audience is on the way of tripling this year, reaching about 300 million.
Application development has been growing extremely fast over the past two years, especially among the iPhone and Android platforms. iPhone seems to have over 150,000 applications, even if in July 2008, the company started with only 500.
